Solar System Worksheets
The worksheets about the solar system include 6 different pages. Let’s start with the first two, where kids need to match the pairs of pre-colored and black and white images of the solar system. This way, they will have an insight into how planets, the Moon and the Sun look. Connecting the images will surely help them recognize some of them by their shapes and colors. On the next page, there is a tracing exercise, where young learners need to trace the names of Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Earth, Uranus, Mars, the Moon, the Sun, Saturn, and Neptune. Following the dotted letters is always a useful practice for developing fine motor and pre-writing skills. After tracing all of the words, kids can color the planets, the Sun and the Moon with suitable colors. On the fifth page, there is a word search puzzle. Kids need to find the 10 hidden words from the list at the bottom of the page.
