Each worksheet provides a variety of shapes for kids to count and graph. This engaging activity reinforces shape recognition as well as essential math concepts like counting and comparing. To make this activity even more engaging, or if you have kids who need a little more work with these math concepts, use shape manipulatives along these worksheets. Shape manipulatives usually come in various colors, so you can ask the students to color the shapes on the worksheets accordingly. As they color the shape, have them set one of the shape manipulatives (that’s the same shape) aside. Once all of the same shapes are colored, kids can count the shape manipulatives and graph them accordingly. This gives these worksheets a hands-on approach, which will only enhance learning.
